1. Oh, Fransson! This blog has excellent quilting tutorials as well as quilt-a-longs and other great craft projects. I especially love the Paintbox Quilt pictured above.

2. ReFabulous has tons of great ideas for refashioning old items into fabulous new ones. I love this bag inspired by an outfit. Her kids are super cute as well.

3. Assorted Notions. The DIY style of this blog is so inspiring. She does an awesome job of making handmade look high fashion in a totally doable way.

4. Darling Dexter. The pictures on this blog are eye candy. I could just look at the pictures. They range from fashion to decor to inspiring photos. It is definitely worth checking out.

5. Midwest Modern Girl. Another blog with a design sharing focus. I love these kind of blogs because the great photos make a quick but memorable read.

All these blogs have been added to my Google Reader and the blog list below.

MIA

Yes, I have been Missing In Action recently. The past two weekends I have been sick. You have no idea how much I hate being sick. Its not so much actually being sick that I hate – although that isn’t a picnic either – but not being able to do. I always have lots of things that I would like to have the time to get done. There is never enough time in the day.

Besides eating away most of my free time being sick, this spring I am taking 15 credits online from the community college in our area. Four of the five classes I am working on right now and one will be starting in March. I really am enjoying the work. This last week I’ve been working on getting caught back up on the work that didn’t get done while I was sick. I am almost back on track.

This next month I am going to try to implement writing posts ahead of time. I can at least do this with the “extra” posts like projects, quotes, recipes, etc. That would save me time during the week when my blog gets put on the back burner. My goal is to be more regular posting in February.
