As we are home from vacation today is the return of Thankful Thursdays.
I’m thankful for:
1. A safe trip traveling - by car - to San Diego, CA and back.
2. Being able to travel and spend time with my Grandparents.
3. That Andrew made it through boot camp and had a good spirit throughout. Not that he ever wants to see another Drill Instructor of course.
4. The time that we have been able to spend with Andrew on his 10-day leave.
5. Having a fantastic time on our vacation!

I’m thankful for my new room that I get to makeover. No, it’s still not official, but it is hard not to hope and want to work on getting a new house ready. We worked on the house all day yesterday. Mom painted over the ugly green in the kitchen, Jonny painted over the dark gray in the bedroom, and I helped my sisters rip down the wallpaper in my bedroom. What a messy job! The picture above is the room before anything was done to it. I want to paint the room a pretty shade of blue to match the quilt I’m working on. I hope we know soon if we are officially moving out there or not!

1. I’m thankful for God’s omniscience. He knows the plans he has for his children.
2. I’m thankful that God is omnipotent. He is all powerful and has control over what he has made.
3. I am thankful for God’s omnipresence. He is everywhere and everytime.
4. I’m thankful for God’s love. Where would I be without it?
5. I am thankful for God’s grace. I would be dead in my transgressions without it.

1. I’m thankful for getting things done. It seems like lately I’ve been procrastinating about certain things - like getting my hamster cage clean - but I’ve gotten most of those things done.
2. The feeling of accomplishment you get from a completed job.
3. Finally starting to get the concept of accomplishing one thing before you start ten new things.
4. Throwing stuff away. Doesn’t getting a drawer cleaned out of stuff you never use feel awesome?
5. Thrift stores that you can take all your unwanted stuff to and take home new stuff. LOL.

1. I’m thankful that God answers prayer. Sunday night we prayed that I would find some part time jobs and today I got a chance to sub for a church preschool class.
2. Little kids. I had so much fun making friends with the kids today.
3. Artwork. I’m very artistic and I enjoyed helping the kids learn how to make artwork. Crafts are so much fun!
4. That Audra had a key to let us in to Bible study tonight.
5. Bible study. Do I say this a lot? I don’t think it helps that Bible study is the same day as these posts. I learn so many things from these studies and of course spending some time with the gals.
