Pink Circles Quilt Top

I have the quilt top for my pink quilt-a-long quilt all put together. I’m still working on the borders however. There are way too many small squares in the borders! LOL. I’ve got the squares mostly all sewed together. Just a little more time and they will be done.
Lots of Small Blocks

The last few days have been spent cutting out lots of 2.5″ x 2.5″ squares for my two bright quilt-a-long quilts. Anyone else getting sick of small squares? LOL. It is going to look great when it is done but it is so time consuming! I have all 950 squares cut out for the purple and pink quilts. Now to get to work sewing the quilt tops together.
Fine Lines Quilt

I got my Fine Lines quilt top put together! Whew. That is one project that has taken too long to complete. I sewed for two days straight to get that done. It still needs borders added and then of course it needs to be quilted. I’ll show you the full quilt when it is done.

My next project for this quiltathon in my blue and white quilt. The pattern is from the American Patchwork & Quilting February 2007 magazine. I have all the blocks put together and just need to sew together the setting triangles as I go along putting the top together. Above you can see the pile of fabric that is cute but that I had in my “project” drawer so it all needs to be ironed again. Oh well. Hopefully I will get a significant amount of work done on this quilt over the weekend.
8:00 Update - Still working on the quilt. Nothing really new to post. I am watching a movie on the Hallmark Channel so it won’t be moving very fast. I’ll post a final post for the day before I head to bed.
10:00 Update - Well, I’m not going to have any more updates for today. The movie was good but now I am very tired and we have church tomorrow. So I will be cleaning up the mess a bit and then heading to bed. Night all!

The Lazy Days Tote is completed! Yay! I found a couple of unfinished lacing projects that I started this summer in my “project” drawer as well. I think I’m going to take a little bit of time away from quilting to finish those up. One is done as you can see.
