So while on vacation we had a couple days of just hanging out at the resort where we were staying. I decided to take some time to take some pictures of the beautiful days we were enjoying. Especially since we were heading back to cold Minnesota. So I took lots of pictures of the flowers and trees and other random things. Here are some of the flower pictures. I will share lots more pictures in my posts this week. This was so much fun I need to do more of it! Today we have some of my favorite flower pictures. BTW… I may be posting these at istockphoto.com to sell later. Maybe I can make some money off my amateur photography.

Our Marine

Ready to go Home
Marine Graduation Day was very cool. Lots of pomp and ceremony. We arrived on base at 7:00 saw the guys in their dress uniform, got Starbucks, went to the Colors Ceremony, and then the Graduation Ceremony. Seeing the guys showing off was cool. Lots of marching and no smiling. Then Andrew was ours for 10 days!
We should be on our way home at the moment, hopefully getting in sometime later this afternoon. 36 hours on the road. I will be knocked out.

Eating Dinner with Andrew.
Thursday was a very early day. 5 am was our departure time. We got to the San Diego Recruit Depot at around 7. Our first view of Andrew was seeing his platoon sitting and then they marched right by us and we got to see them practice. We had Starbucks on base, went to the orientation, and then got to see the guys run by us in the Moto Run. I cried and I am a very unemotional person. It was just so good to see him after so long. After the ceremony we had 5 hours of time to spend with Andrew on base. He’s stands a little taller but is still much the same. But I can tell that it has been a really good experience for him. Tomorrow I’ll post the graduation day pictures.
Here are a few more Christmas crafts and a couple of fun anytime projects.
