This is a book I had read in my early teens and really enjoyed. I decided to read it again and think I enjoyed it more the second time around than I did the first. Probably because it speaks directly to where I am at, at this point in my life. It reminds me of the book Stepping Heavenward in that you get to see the growth through faith that the main character makes in her life. In this book Beth has to come to the point where she trusts God to bring a husband into her life because there weren’t any potential candidates in the small town she lived in. And God does. One of the other things I really liked was being able to see courtship actually play out between the couple and their parents.
