I’m going to Israel in 2012! How exciting is that? Emmaus takes a group of about twenty-five students every other year on a learning/educational trip to Israel. The trip lasts for 2 1/2 weeks and is in May right after school is over for the summer. Today was the first informational meeting. It was short and sweet but I felt like it made my desire to go into an official reality. The cost for the trip will be about $3,800. It’s a crazy lot amount of money but the airfare for traveling overseas is not cheap. I’m already starting to save my pennies for the trip. One of the things I want to get done in the next couple of weeks is to apply for a passport. I’m really excited right now and just had to share. Look for more information to come!

This post is the perfect first post to enter back into the world of blogging. I want to my blog to be a place where family and friends can keep up with what I am doing. My blog before was mainly for those “unknown” friends out somewhere on the internet. How can you blog if you don’t know who your audience is? I am looking forward to making new friends but I want my blog to be relatable to the people I know in real life. So my reinvented blog is for all of you. Posts will be regular but not be daily.
